I have been using the vet since 2000. He was the only doctor in his office when it opened, not just a receptionist there. My dog was very ill and needed attention. He was very caring and explained everything. And the rest of my crew (all 7 animals) have been going there. He has another doctor that comes on Wednesday and she is just as wonderful. Thanks for all the time that has been given to my babies (pets).
We moved to Mesquite last summer. I needed to find a new vet for our animals. After reading the good reviews I decided on South Mesquite Veterinary Hospital because everyone seemed to have good experiences here. Mine was not any different. Everyone was very nice and the wait wasn't long at all! I was used to spending at least an hour at my old vet's office in Dallas. This is a very good new vet for animals. :)

The veterinarian was pleasant. However, he did nothing to help my dog. In fact, the medication he prescribed only made her worse. Attempts to get follow up help were useless. I was transferred to vet techs who knew nothing. I spent a good deal of money trying to get help for my dog and now may have to put it to sleep. I will never use this clinic again and advise against it.
Dr Pirrung and his associates are awesome! Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Best care and genuine concern for my pets' well-being!
